White washing is when u change a character skin tone that CANONICALLY has that skin tone like golden cheese cookie she’s canonically black and if u change her skin tone to white it’s considered racist. (For better explaining If a character is canonically brown or Black and someone redraws them pale with different features, that’s whitewashing.) so no it is not racist to make cosmo white if he doesn’t have a canon skin color unless he’s officially shown as black then it could be considered white washing
