At a small firm right now. Bad fit for me. We never have any work but it is 5 days a week in office. I feel like I am not getting experience.

My firm is in a weird spot. We are just on the cusp of being big, but not big enough to be considered big law. We are in 11 states, and are considered big in those states. So I kind of have a blend of both. I was going to court several times a month in my first year

I get to do all of these things at a regional office in a big law firm. I'm a first year, get paid 225k, and have already won oral arguments and run small cases directly with partner supervision. The idea that you don't get real experience in big law is a myth.
