@itsjojosiwa: For the last 5 years, this building has been the backdrop for not only every single part of my career, but also my life. Millions of things were created here…. auditions, projects, music videos, ideas, and some of the biggest moments of my career all happened inside these walls. But what breaks my heart today isn’t leaving the workplace, It’s leaving a place that became part of me. 90% of my free time was spent here. If I had nowhere to go, I came here. If I had something to celebrate, I came here. If I was sad, overwhelmed, scared, lonely, confused, any feeling… I came here. And now, for the first time in 5 years, I’m walking out knowing I’m not coming back. There’s a new beautiful studio location coming, but leaving these walls is the hardest thing I’ve experienced in a while. Every memory came flooding in at the speed of light the second I tried to walk out. It’s a really heavy, strange kind of heartbreak💔 The walls saw the highest highs and the lowest lows. They saw celebrations, tears, laughter, heartbreak, victories, failures, and everything in between. Thank you to every dancer who ever stepped foot in this space. Thank you to every choreographer who shared their creativity here. Thank you to every person who helped turn an empty building into a home. Saying Goodbye to the building that held my dreams, my creativity, my friendships, my comfort, my chaos, my growth, and so many of the moments that made me who I am. Thank you for the last 5 years in these walls. ❤️
