When we first started talking, she asked me what kind of music I like. Is people who first start talking will do. I told her that I like Shoegaze. And she got all excited asked if I’d liked Slowdive. Of course, I said yes it was kind of long pause I remember. Then she asked me about a couple more bands with their specific songs and said that she loves those songs that they are her favorites Fast-forward three years later, she cheats on me we break up. Fast forward two years and I am looking for a new music to listen to and I open up Apple Music and I type in Shegaze. I don’t find anything new but I like this song on the playlist that popped up and so I just pressed play on it and let it run. And then I made the realization that the three years that we were together, she never once played any of those songs that she questioned me about that she said that were her favorites and then what really hit home is I realize that these songs that she asked me about were in the exact order that they were on Apple Music playlist. So basically, she just looked up the genre and was asking me about it and was saying that certain songs were her favorite ones. It was such a strange realization to come to.
