Do not pack her into a corner like that. She’s never gonna like you unless you get her to come out and come to you. Just sit there and read a book or something. I can’t eventually come out to see what you are up to because cats are the most curious creatures on earth.

Give her time and don’t force it. Sit nearby quietly, talk soft, offer treats, and let her come to you first. Slow blinks help too. With cats, trust is rented by the minute and paid in patience. 🐱 She’s not being mean, she’s just saying: “I may be small, but this flower pot kingdom is mine.”
