The other thing people are forgetting is the plea deal. pretty much 99% of every single thing you go through in our justice system involves a plea deal. it's almost automatic. he already knew he was guilty of a crime he admitted to it. why did his family talk him out of a plea? he could have been out in 3 years or less on a manslaughter charge or something similar down the Texas. going to trial is always a risk and that is a huge gamble.

The bond is 10% of the bail, if it’s $250,000, only $2,500 gets paid and rest would be owed if he didn’t show up to trial, he did, they get that money back. Not saying the attorney didn’t charge a ton of money but they were not out $250,000 for bond fees

Just to clarify typically on bond, you only have to pay 10% of the total value so if the $250,000 bond, you only have to come up with $25,000 as the payment for the bond.

If he would have taken a plea deal his sentence would have been between 2-15 years.

What was the final sentence? I saw that he was found guilty but never saw anything about sentencing.

At a minimum, this video is proof that people don’t need to be getting their news feeds from Tik Tok or any other social media site! Not saying that mainstream media is any better.

One thing so many people are confused about.... 10% of 250,000 is 25,000. The 10% is the fee that the bond company charges to put up the 250,000. The fee is kept by the company as a payment for their risk putting up the money. The bond company gets the 250,000 back when the person shows up to court. If the family puts up the 250,000, they get it all back when the person shows up to court. The 250,000 is not a fine or payment, it is simply to make sure the person comes to court when it's time for the trial.
