I live in Clarendon and have been practicing in Northern Virginia for the last 15 years. I am so incredibly sorry and admire you beyond words! You have an entire army behind you now. Arlington loves to hide or “resolve” violent crimes—they’ve been doing it for decades, so it’s not new. The fact ArlNOW hasn’t reported on this is insane. Have you reached out to them? With your permission, I will. The “story” for them is not just the vicious attack that was meant to kill you, but Arlington PD’s lack of investigation and warning to the public — why? It’s unheard of nowadays for businesses not to have cameras, which would at least show who is walking by. Same with right outside the jail and courthouse. The PD’s and CA’s offices need public pressure. They don’t need your memory to investigate and charge someone (not to be morbid, but they don’t have the luxury of interviewing victims that have even murdered either 🙄). Their lack of investigation is beyond inexcusable

So I feel like the police didn’t really feel like this was a case worth investigating. The fact that you have your clothes from the night of the attack is actually wild. Shouldn’t they be in evidence? I haven’t gotten mine back.

i have similar experience with my memories after my traumatic experience. Have you heard of EMDR? I really want to try it but I’m not sure if it will be too painful to handle.

I remember you saying in one of your videos you remember being in an uber before the incident. Did they question the Uber driver or even the bar staff? Maybe the guy who bought you a drink was in the Uber too? Maybe he knows something
