As a cat sitter, if I DONT get oddly specific instructions from the owner I lowkey judge them for not caring about their cat lol. Like I fully expect you tell me I have to count out exactly 8 temptations and line them up perfectly on a specific plate, and then add exactly 1 tsp of water to a can of wet food and microwave it for 6.5 seconds, no more no less.

This is called Voss water in our house (from a Adam Sandler movie). If our cat does not get 3 ice cubes in her water on the night stand 2x a day she dumps it over like we are her peasants.

my cat has THREE different water sources lmao. her $$$ water fountain with 3 filters, a bowl she has to specifically have in my shower, and a glass of water we place on the table. she has trained us lol.
