I can never speak to my father because he is Bipolar and if I speak back, he’d go into a state of psychosis, I’ve tried once, he heard me, and a week later it was back to normal, he interrupts me constantly and when I do it once, he gets angry, when I shoot back “you do it all the time” he says “because I’m your dad, got a problem with it?” Which I can’t respond to, because his belief is we can just fight it out in the back yard… he’s been in the army for over a decade of his life and is retired.. I can’t with him anymore..
