I had a student who was wondering why the tooth fairy didn’t take his tooth. I asked if he told his parents, he said no and asked why they needed to know. I told him that only parents have the tooth fairy’s phone number because too many kids lied to her about losing teeth. He believed me. Evan, I hope you got a couple more years of magic because of our conversation.

my bf told his daughter honey baked ham was 'candy meat' her mom could not get her to eat a ham sandwich. she LOVED candy meat sandwiches. he told her when she turned 18. she had BIG feelings about it. ☠️

I work in dentistry, there’s a condition called black hairy tongue, I showed my nephew a picture and said when you tell lies your tongue turns more and more black. When he lies I ask him to stick out his tongue and he refuses 😂

My mom told us we could make butter with the coffee creamer pods at restaurants to keep us busy. We had countless butter making competitions and would say “it’s getting thicker!!”… no it wasn’t.

I told my kids that we can’t get drums because it was written into the blue print as a rule of the house. It’s not Mommy’s rule, the house itself will not allow it. 😂

we tell our kids if they watch a show TOO much aka it's annoying, Netflix removes it. I just block it along all profiles. saves my sanity

I’m the shortest adult they know so I told my kids I used to be a Christmas elf for Santa and gave up my magic to be with their dad but I still have a direct line to Santa to tell him how they’re doing. Hallmark really has my back on the plausibility of that lie
