@jayceebrammer: I really thought I was the wood-look paint DIY pro after doing two other projects, but this one really humbled me. Hot. Sweaty. Sticky. Angry. Everything that could go wrong did. This project was a fail. And I had to just remove myself before I made it even worse and ruined the front door.
