High protein bhuna khichuri! Recipe- serves 4. Ingredients: Chicken breast diced 750g. You can also use chicken boneless thighs. 2 medium onions sliced 1 tomato diced 1tbsp ginger garlic paste Grains: 1/2 cup kalijeera rice, 1/3 cup mix daal, 1/4 cup moog daal, 1/4 cup booter daal, 1/2 cup mix tri color quinoa. 2tsp mustard oil for cooking A few pieces of bay leaves, cinnamon, cardamom and cloves. 1tsp chilli powder, 1/2tsp turmeric powder 1/2tsp cumin powder, 1/2tsp deshi gorom moshla Green chillies and fried onions to garnish. Boiled eggs for extra protein. lol Cooking method: in a pan add mustard oil, add those whole spices like bay leaves and cardamom. Add sliced onions and cook until caramelised. Add some water, ginger garlic paste, tomatoes, spices mentioned above and mix well. Add salt and cover and let the gravy cook for 7min on medium heat. Add chicken pieces and mix well. Cover and cook for 5-7min. Mix and take the chicken out leaving some gravy. Add in the soaked rice and lentils and add salt, sugar, and give it a mix. And 3 cups of hot water and cook until rice is soft. Add back the chicken and gravy. Boiled eggs, green chillies and some fried onions. Cover and cook on dum for 10min. Serve hot with achar and deshi salad 🥰🥰
