He’s notoriously hitting innocent people with strays. He had a whole comedy bit where he made fun of intellectually disabled boys. Then he got in his car accident and didn’t have his faculties for a while. God might not smite people like he used to, but he can still humble people when he sees fit. But some people never learn, no matter what.
