Chelsea :
I honestly just chewed regular food extremely slowly in small baby size pieces in the nonaffected areas ....and I had 4 impaacted wisdom teeth, plus 2 regular teeth removed, and tongue and lip surgery all in the same surgery. Even soft chicken nuggets, soft breads, scrambled or other eggs, really soft beef stews or meatloafs slathered in gravy and using a crocpot to make soft fall apart foods - potatos and soups, stoufers mac and cheese would be perfect (and maybe their other items like Salisbury steak), etc. In a week's time, I was mostly recovered, but day 1 and 2 my appetite wasn't too big, day 3 eating normal but lots of caution. The biggest help was to put tea bags on the painful areas, it really helps inflammation. I hate the taste of tea, but I had them on my gums constantly and my healing went great, no dry socket. Nighttime is the worst time for pain though, save the pain meds for bed as much as possible. I had a newborn with colic when I got it done and I got through with a little help day 1 and 2 but there out, I was fully independent.
