If i recall correctly part of the agreement FIFA and the host nations is that they have to fascilitate the entry to officials and teams playing in the cup. But Infantino is a coward. He even defended it in an interview...Guess Fifa can violate the Mexican Constitutional principal of freedom of transit restricting who can get near the mexican stadiums, but not say shit about a host country complicating the things to participant teams. Yes a country has the ultimate word on who enters and who doesnt. Here is the kicker... Trump and his cult just set a very nice precedent for any nation hosting sporting events from now on... Any host nation now can ban athletes from entering their countrys just because. Using Infantinos argument about the possible 2035 UK Womens world cup... the UK can deny the top US Female soccer team players if not the whole team cause of the precedent set by the US.
