when i started band in the1990s. my band director placed us in what section that needed to be filled or what instrument was available. i wanted saxophone but was placed with baritone/euphonium. mom was pissed and confused thinking I was gonna bring home a tuba/sousaphone😅😅

Yep, percussion mom here. We have replaced our dining room table for a set of tenors and a vibraphone. We live in a small apartment. ... we have have the bass home for the summer.
