For those of you that don't know, you can take the 2 screws out that holds the electric brake motor on, take the electric brake off and unscrew the brake tension, then put the ebrake motor back on. your welcome

electronic parking brake motors...one of the most unnecessary vehicle options next to stabilitrak, advance fuel management & auto start-stop...just one more thing to go wrong

There’s literally a procedure to suck the EPB in with out a scan tool. Usually a sequence of pressing a button a couple of times takes about 10-15 seconds to do

I unplug the motor, take it off, and unwind it by hand with some torx bits or a vw special socket
