I really got back into cycling this year. On April 27th 2025 I gave birth to my stillborn son. I was depressed beyond belief. This year, April 28th I picked up my bike again and decided it was time to get riding. Loss moms and dads really need to get outside and move (when ready), if you can find an organization in your area I'm sure they have a Facebook group and one of them will be thankful for a reason to move again.

My 5 year old Marin aluminum frame snapped at the seat-stay weld. I gave it to my LBS 3 weeks ago to activate my warranty. Haven’t heard anything back. Should I call them to see what’s going on or just wait more?

For the envoy, you could try and organize a local meet up with fellow daily cyclists. That would get it localized, as far as making sure it’s to someone in need, maybe one of the viewers know of someone they know

excellent message. I would add the people who are into bikes should try to get at least part time work at a bike shop. The amount of experience I got doing countless tune ups helped me gain confidence as an at home mechanic today

Reminds me of how I trashed the Colnago carbon C50 in 2005. super expensive and the fun only lasted me 72 hours……carbon is trash after the first CRASH……steel is real….extra respect for accepting the mistakes that we make……
