Privileged to live in SF for 20 years; left in 2001. I get that prices rise, but this insane amount is driven by speculative ai bubble and hubris. This apartment is fair to middling, at best. Doesn’t Taylor run north to south from the wharf to market? Nob Hill ain’t got the cachet for that amount. Unless that includes staff, nah….

It’s the builder basics and absolutely giving nothingness about it that really ice the cake of how messed up real estate is. Like $21k but it blows us away with how beautiful it is. I can’t afford it but fine. But $21k and it looks like you’d be settling even if it was $2k in a suburb 3 hours out? No. NO
