solar panels on residential property are 100% a scam regardless of company

1. We did our research before signing. We had debated it for more than a year and chose to go with Sunrun after more than a dozen homes in our new subdivision went with the same company.

Solar is such a scam, the companies offer it free and all you have to do is give them the difference in savings until it’s paid for then after that you can collect on your savings but by then the panels are basically generating 1/2 what they use to

I have Sunrun on a house I just purchased. They scammed the old lady I bought the house from because of the trees next to the house covering half the panels.

I have sunrun, pay 190 a month and didn’t pay anything to install. My electricity bill was $500+ every month so I’m more than satisfied, running 4 ac’s , a pool filter and don’t have to stress about a higher bill

it typically takes 15 to 20 years to recoup your solar investment. not usually worth it.

We had our panels installed in 2010. Haven’t had an electricity bill since 2011.

Titan was my installer. They filed for bankruptcy a year and a half after install.

I love my solar. Was 18K got the 30% back last year so about 12.5K. New roof was put on right before solar. Paying between 180-220 for electricity now just 30 a month for the grid hookup fee. Considering the rising costs of electricity it’ll pay itself off faster.

I got into a dispute with Sunrun over water that head leaked into the conduit feeding the inside main breaker. post your issues on BBB!! that's how I got a different rep who made sure it was eventually fixed properly.

First year went okay here. Now my battery fails Mullen times a day and usually most the night. I have power cords running through my house now for two months. 😑 big mistake.

Did your bills get lower at least or was the damage to house the only cons?
