In 1973, it was renamed Neungsa Temple and became a branch temple of Haeinsa Temple, the headquarters of the 12th Diocese of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism. According to the 'Historical Monument of Neunghwasa Temple in Yonghwasan Mountain', which records the history of the temple, Daeungjeon (大雄殿) and Gwaneumjeon (觀音殿) were expanded from 1984 to 1986, and Yosachae (Yosachae) was completed in 1995. The stone statue of Medicine Buddha at the entrance was enshrined in 1999. The ‘Yonghwasan Noeungsa Temple Historic Site’ within the precincts was built by Lee Cheon-bok in 2013.
