My body hates birth control so I’m good with the condoms. They’re extremely effective if you do it right! 5 years no issues so far :)

Jsyk “real world use” includes not actually using condoms every time. If you use them every time they are incredibly effective, and they also offer STI protection. Everyone should use what works best for them, but I wanna make sure people have correct info abt all the options

Personally hormonal birth control does not work for me, and that’s ok!! That also doesn’t mean that it’s evil. It mean talk to your doctor about things you have, and have open communication when it doesn’t work (I am a mental mess on hormonal birth control no matter how long I take it) I’m trying the non hormonal iud soon that will hopefully take care of the pregnancy side without worrying about completely disregulating my body haha
