Values are not always going to be the same and not always going to be found in the beginning. It may be found later on in the Marriage, however that’s not the main problem initially. The main problem is if you’re willing to change it and work on it actively and respectively. When the value itself becomes the main importance to determine whether the divorce should happen, is when the effort towards what’s being addressed is not being agreed upon, actively or consistently worked on. Needless to say, we all need to do better, listen to one another, and if one way is not working, try other ways.

Also, it’s ok if your value systems change overtime, just be sure to communicate that with your partner.
