DAILY DIGEST THURSDAY, 21st MAY 2026 THURSDAY OF THE SEVENTH WEEK OF EASTER ✨ THEME: TAKE COURAGE AND WALK IN UNITY 📖 Scripture Focus Acts 22:30; 23:6–11 · Psalm 16:1–2, 5, 7–11 · John 17:20–26 📜 Key Verse “Take courage. For just as you have borne witness to my cause in Jerusalem, so you must also bear witness in Rome.” — Acts 23:11 🌅 Word for Today Beloved, today’s readings remind us that God strengthens His people in moments of difficulty and calls us to live in unity, faith, and courage. In the First Reading, Saint Paul stands before the Sanhedrin amid accusation, confusion, and hostility. Yet in the midst of the conflict, the Lord stands beside him and speaks words of encouragement: “Take courage.” God does not abandon Paul in his trials. Instead, He strengthens him and assures him that his mission is not over. The Psalm beautifully expresses trust in God: “Keep me safe, O God; You are my hope.” Even in uncertain times, God remains our refuge, protector, and source of peace. In the Gospel, Jesus prays not only for His disciples, but also for all who will believe in Him through their message — including us today. His prayer is powerful: “That they may all be one.” Jesus desires unity among His followers — unity rooted in love, truth, humility, and the presence of God. Beloved, we live in a world filled with division, fear, discouragement, and spiritual battles. Yet Christ is calling us to remain united in Him and courageous in faith. As believers, we are called to: Walk in courage even during trials Trust God’s presence in difficult moments Promote unity, peace, and love Remain faithful to our Christian mission Reflect Christ through our words and actions Sometimes life may feel overwhelming, and opposition may arise around us. But remember: The Lord still stands beside His children. His grace is sufficient for every battle. Beloved, do not allow fear, division, or discouragement to weaken your faith. Stand firm in Christ. Walk in unity. Take courage. God is with you. ✝️ Prophetic Declaration The Lord stands beside me and strengthens me. I walk in courage, faith, and divine confidence. Fear and discouragement will not overcome me. I am a vessel of unity, peace, and love. My life will continue to bear witness to Christ. 🙏 Prayer Heavenly Father, Thank You for always standing beside me in every situation. Strengthen my heart when I face difficulties and uncertainties. Help me to walk in courage, unity, and faithfulness. Fill my life with Your peace and make me a reflection of Your love to others.
