DuckingKadin :

why would the landlord do that to his own house? so odd

Walnut Goddess 🏳️‍⚧️ :

first of all you don't plant bamboo seeds. bamboo seeds only have a life span of 2 days and they don't propagate well. you plant bamboo rhizomes and for them to get that big those rhizomes are over ten years old.

000000 :

allegedly

From the Pew :

Takes 4-5 years to start to grow out of the ground

sarahlicious :

That’s why landlords keep raising the rates. They have to pay money to fix all the damage done by previous renters. And they pass the cost down to the next renter.

Gerardo :

where is the proof he did it?🤷🏻‍♂️

TreFadez :

I don’t think he did it, is there any proof?

Dan Hirst :

Ah yes, inflation is why rent went up. So tell me, what is the landlord doing to the home, for the tenant, that justifies a $6k/yr hike?

Casey P :

the landlords cost are minimum on upkeep. definitely not $400 a month more

wholio :

The renter was with me the entire time. I saw nothing

Fire-38D :

Bamboo is a nice touch

MayorWesD :

Inflation doesn’t change your mortgage

Lily Takeda :

ai story

Jer :

Allegedly.

Banana Bred :

Fun fact about being poor: even if you're taken to court they have to adjust your monthly payments to something you can actually afford. Might take 15 years for the landlord to get his money back, and inflation will make that worthless.

Rizza :

Dont bamboo seeds take 5 years to germinate?

Mockingbird :

legal trouble and expensive damage.
