@craigplant_: If you’re a baritone and your high notes feel heavier as you go up, there’s a good chance you’re trying to add more power instead of allowing the voice to adjust. What helped me wasn’t singing louder. It was learning to use back pressure, keep the voice connected, and think of singing as a thinned-out version of my talking voice. The higher you go, the less weight you need. Most singers do the opposite. Connection first. Power second. 🔑
Whenever I try and do this, I never get that mix. it's either a really weak falsetto or a really strained high note. I think in general my voice is strained
