tipping culture is oppressive and benefits the rich. I hate tipping. I do tip, but I hate it every time. I cant wait to go to Japan and not having to worry about a tip.

I'm not sure about service workers make a liveable wage in Japan. Lately it might be getting better due to a labor shortage but they were not paid well traditionally.
