This makes me cry. He wanted 20 Rand ≠ $1.23. The guy gave him 600 Rand I think? Which is only $37, but to that young man, I bet it was sooo much. This really makes me extremely thankful I’m not hungry and really put into perspective how blessed we are.

I was just laying in my bed (during a heatwave) and thanking God for the bed I lay on, the roof over my head, the cold AC I have on and the food in my fridge. I am truly blessed and so grateful. I don't have a couch, kitchen table or dresser but I'm good!! I'm safe and never hungry. God bless this young boy
