@mrsschuet: Chapter 33 Seven years. Seven years had passed since that day Miu walked out of the penthouse, and so much had changed—yet in many ways, it felt as though time had both flown and stood still.  In the wide, sunlit garden of the family estate, Bow sat comfortably on a bench, watching with a soft, gentle smile as two small figures darted across the grass.  Mulan and Lalee—four years old now, full of energy and laughter—chased each other around the flower beds, their giggles ringing through the air like music.  Bow shook her head lightly, still finding it hard to believe how quickly everything had unfolded.  It felt like only yesterday that life had been filled with uncertainty, pain, and difficult choices.  And now, looking at the two happy children running freely, she felt a quiet sense of peace settle in her chest.  Finally, she thought to herself. Everything has fallen into place.  Everything is in order now.  Her gaze shifted slightly, her expression softening further as she remembered all that had happened. She thought of Lena—of the long, difficult road she had walked, of the choices she had made, and the sacrifices she had endured along the way. There had been times when it seemed as though things would never mend, times when the weight of the past felt too heavy to carry.  But looking at how things stood now, Bow could truly say that all of it had led here.  All the struggles, all the tears, all the hard decisions—they had somehow brought them to this moment.  All that Lena went through… all her sacrifices… I can finally say now that it is well. Everything is as it should be. Just then, the low hum of an engine and the sound of tires rolling over gravel near the gate caught her attention. Moments later, the car came into view, and as it pulled to a stop, a familiar figure stepped out, adjusting the strap of her bag and looking around with a calm, steady gaze. “Mama!”  The twins stopped chasing each other instantly, their small bodies freezing for half a second before their faces lit up like lanterns.  Without hesitation, they ran as fast as their little legs could carry them across the lawn, calling out her name again and again, their voices full of excitement.  Lena knelt down to meet them halfway, a warm, bright smile spreading across her face as she opened her arms wide. “There you are, my little ones,” she said, her voice steady and gentle, carrying a warmth that felt like sunlight.  She greeted each of them in turn, brushing stray strands of wind-tousled hair from their faces, straightening their shirts, and listening carefully as they began to talk all at once. Her touch was soft, her tone affectionate—but there was a quiet restraint in it too, a gentle boundary she had learned to keep, as if she wanted to love them deeply without overwhelming them, to be present without smothering.  It was her way of showing care, steady and consistent, rather than loud or dramatic.  Bow watched from the bench, a soft, knowing smile playing on her lips. She said nothing, simply observing the scene with quiet happiness.  She saw how Lena stood with the children, how she knelt to be at their level, how she held their hands and nodded seriously as they told her about their games, their flowers, and the butterflies they had spotted earlier. There was no mistaking the care she felt, no hiding the fact that these two little lives had become her greatest joy and her most important responsibility.  After a moment, Lena glanced over toward Bow, her eyes meeting hers. She gave a small, sincere smile and a polite nod of acknowledgment—respectful, warm, and free of the tension that used to hang between them years ago before turning her full attention back to the twins, answering their endless questions and laughing softly at their stories.  The sun continued to shine down on the garden, warm and golden, painting long, soft shadows across the grass. continuation ➡️ Comment Section ⤵️ #lenalalina #lenamiu #miunatsha

3️⃣ . She thought of Bow, of the kindness she had shown, and of the family they had built. .  She thought of the home she had walked away from, and the memories that still lingered there. . But now, there was no bitterness in her heart, no lingering anger or regret. Instead, she felt only a quiet sense of acceptance and deep gratitude—grateful for the lessons she had learned, grateful for the time they had shared, and grateful that they had all found their own ways forward. . She wondered what they were doing now, how life had treated them, but she did not feel the old urge to rush back or demand answers. . She was simply curious, and open to whatever might come next. .  For now, though, she kept her focus firmly on the present, on the new chapter waiting for her just beyond those glass doors. . The road ahead was unknown, but she walked toward it with courage, ready to see what this return would bring. . . . .   To be continued…

1️⃣ . Everything looked peaceful, everything looked complete, as if the world had finally found its right rhythm again. Meanwhile, thousands of miles away and yet suddenly so close to home… .  The moment Miu stepped out of the arrival gates and felt the warm, familiar air brush against her skin, she paused for just a second, then took a slow, deep breath—one that felt lighter, fuller, and freer than any she had taken in years. .  The airport was bustling with movement: travelers rushing to catch flights, families greeting one another with hugs and cheers, the constant murmur of conversation mixed with the sound of announcements over the speakers. .  Normally, this kind of noise and activity would have felt overwhelming, suffocating even, but today it felt different. .  Instead of making her feel small or lost, it felt like a gentle welcome, a reminder that she was back in the place she had once called home, but now seeing it with new eyes. .  She was no longer the same Miu who had walked away seven years ago, carrying a heart heavy with hurt, confusion, and uncertainty. .  Back then, she had left with tears in her eyes and a feeling that she was broken beyond repair, unsure if she would ever find her way again. .  The pain that had once felt like a permanent weight in her chest—the sharp ache of disappointment, the grief of lost love, the fear of an unknown future—no longer defined who she was. . It had not vanished completely; some scars remained, faint but visible, quiet reminders of what she had endured and how much it had cost her. . But those scars no longer had the power to break her, to hold her back, or to make her feel less than whole. .  Over the years, she had learned to carry them not as heavy burdens, but as proof of how far she had come. . Every challenge she faced, every lonely night she got through, every small victory she won—they had all shaped her into the woman she was now. .  She walked with her head held high, her posture straight and sure, carrying herself with a quiet sense of peace and confidence that radiated from within.

2️⃣ . There was a new lightness in her step, a calm assurance that had grown slowly but steadily as she learned to stand firmly on her own two feet. .  Her smile came more easily now—soft, genuine, and reaching all the way to her eyes, which shone brighter and clearer than they had in a very long time. . There was a serenity about her, a quiet strength that showed in the way she moved and looked at the world around her—something that had been missing during those difficult days in the past. .  These seven years had taught her the most important lesson of all: how to love herself. .  She had poured all her energy into healing, into understanding her own heart, and into discovering who she was outside of any relationship, any expectations, or any role others had given her. .  She had built a life that felt truly hers one filled with meaningful work, new friendships, and experiences that broadened her world. .  She had learned to be content with what she had, to find joy in the simple things: the warmth of the morning sun, the sound of rain on a window, the taste of a good meal, the quiet moments of stillness where she could just breathe and be. .  Most importantly, she had learned to find happiness without depending on anyone else to give it to her. . She had become her own source of comfort, her own strength, and her own home. .  For the first time in a very long time, Miu was genuinely happy. .  It was not the kind of happiness that came from everything being perfect—she knew better than anyone that life would always have its ups and downs, its surprises and its struggles. .  But it was a deep, lasting kind of happiness that rose from within, unshakable and true. . It was the peace of knowing she was whole on her own, that she had healed the parts of herself that once felt broken, and that she was finally living life exactly on her own terms. .  As she walked through the airport toward the exit, pulling her suitcase smoothly behind her, her mind drifted naturally to the people she had left behind. .  She thought of Lena—of all the history they shared, the love they had and the ways they had both changed.
