The most important time of the year, I usually celebrate together with his birthday. As someone who grew and raised by a father from as little as 3 years. I never lacked anything and my dad played both roles as a father and a mother as a father. I don't know how many times I had been in theatres when I had ear problems at a tender age, and my dad stood right beside me. He got so many job opportunities even abroad which could have changed his standard of living but he denied them all because he needed to raise me and trusted no one in my care except himself. Talk about cleaning, cooking, laundry, ironing, plumbing etc,I learned all that from my dad. He would demonstrate first then learn, exam times like grade 7 and form 4 he did all the house chores and let me study just for me to pass. Talk about Uni, there was a point I slacked back but he endured it all until I graduated. It made me even forget that I lost my mom as I never felt the need to have one and my dad played both roles effortlessly and unconditionally. I appreciate him and thank God daily for his life and love and I couldn't trade any other dad for anyone else. He's been the best and still is
