Not fully disagreeing, just offering a more complex outlook: I’m hesitant that Paul developed his theology completely independently and with little involvement from the Apostles. They were still around and had major influence. His theology would not have become so prominent without at least SOME buy in from them. Plus, most of what we know is from one-sided letters with only half of the context, so I’d be curious to know what a fuller picture of his ministry looked like

the gospel of Jesus is one of many "gospels" written during the 2nd century, and is an mix of Jewish, Greek, and Roman mythology, such as Serapis Cristus, Josephus' War of the Jews, Dionysus, etc
