A fun way to get back into running, you can do walking/running. Do a time run like example: 15 minutes run total. Walk for 5 minutes and then jog for 30secs or 1 minute and just repeat until you hit total time

As someone who used to compete in 5k runs. A good pair of shoes is good but what really matters learning how to control your breathing while running as well as finding a good pace. Never look at the ground so your airway isn’t obstructed. Once you learn how to breathe you just start to move faster naturally. Hope this helps & have fun💯
