Don’t forget about the Blank Panther’s community survival programmes. They had free breakfast programmes, community health clinics, food distribution hubs and childcare. Even before the Panthers black woman in the USA organised sewing circles, childcare, mutual-aid societies, communal kitchens etc.

I heard somewhere that the patriarchy and matriarchy have nothing to do with sex. I was told a very good explanation; the patriarchy is a pyramid, while a matriarchy is a circle. obviously, the pyramid support the people at the top while the masses at the bottom squirm and slave away for the above. however, a matriarchal system is balanced and round- with the well off at the edges, supporting those in the middle. the reason that a patriarchy is so often dominated by men is the world around the patriarchy and nothing to do with the actual system of patriarchy. I am wondering about your thoughts on this

This is just a part of the patriarchy however, a massive part is social conditioning and norms, which need to change. Also, a hierarchy isn’t automatically patriarchal. I understand what you mean, but a hierarchal society could still very much exist without patriarchy due to all the other factors of oppression within society
