Skipping your rest time is keeping you skinnyfąț 👀 The skinnyfat look isn’t solved by burning more calories and “keeping yourself in the fat burning zone” at the gym It’s solved by building more muscle 💪🏻 You build more muscle by lifting close to failure. But if you don’t take your reps close to failure, you won’t feel like you actually need your rest time Then you get bored and say sht like “but I feel like I could do more” 🤨 Then you go jump around in between sets to burn more calories - which does fck all for the toned body you want You don’t need to “keep your heart rate up” during your resistance training But you DO need to rest so you can actually push hard on your next set and create the stimulus for muscle growth 🤝
