Legit, to be a good Strategist Main you have to learn how to not make mistakes, anticipate the flow of team fights, mentally track EVERYONE’s Ult timing, cuz everyone flames you if you make ANY mistake (especially double ulting)… but if a DPS messes up at all, it’s no big deal; no one cares if DPS double ult or get zero kills during their ult, if they are out of position, etc. DPS only get complaints if they aren’t getting kills or not counter swapping (aka not doing their job). I think new players confuse a *hero* being easy to use with the *role* being easy… Strategist *Role* is too important to mess up so it is not an easy role (it’s quite complicated when played right), & to balance this they tend to make the Strategist *heroes* easy to use. The opposite is true for DPS, their role is super simple but each DPS is complicated to use & has a much higher skill expression ceiling. But the simplicity of the DPS role makes it ideal for new players.

This why dps is the easiest role cause you just need to avoid getting hit and hit the other team. That's it. With tank, you need to take hits, but not too much or the heals can't keep up. With support, you have twice the amount of targets than the rest of the team, you need to watch out for dive, you gotta take cover so poke don't hit you, but also gotta make sure that you can still see your team. I said all that about support, but tank is actually the hardest role since everyone focuses them. They are literally the front line, so they're ripe for the taking. Dps, no one really focuses them since everyone either goes for tanks (poke) or support (dive).
