Graduation Day 👩🏽‍🎓❤️✨ Today, I walked across that stage carrying more than a degree. I carried every tear I cried when nobody was watching. I carried every sleepless night, every early morning, every sacrifice, every setback, every disappointment, and every moment I wanted to quit. There were days I was exhausted. Days I was overwhelmed. Days I questioned myself. Days I felt like the weight of the world was on my shoulders. But I kept going. Not because it was easy. Because I had six blessings watching me. Because I refused to let my children believe that hard seasons mean you stop dreaming. Because I needed them to see that no matter how many times life knocks you down, you get back up and keep fighting. Today isn’t just about graduating. It’s about proving that your past doesn’t get the final say. It’s about proving that pain doesn’t get to write the ending of your story. It’s about proving that delays are not denials. It’s about proving that with God, what looks impossible can become reality. There were moments I felt broken. Moments I felt alone. Moments I wondered how I was going to make it. But God… God carried me when I couldn’t carry myself. He made a way when I couldn’t see one. He gave me strength when I had none left. And when I wanted to quit, He whispered, “Keep going. You’re closer than you think.” So today, I stand here as a mother, a survivor, a woman of faith, and now a graduate. Not because life was perfect. Not because the road was easy. But because God was faithful. To my babies, I hope you never forget this moment. I hope when life gets hard, you remember your mother kept going. I hope when people tell you what you can’t do, you remember your mother did it anyway. I hope when fear tells you to quit, you remember your mother chose faith. And I hope you always know that it is never too late to become who God created you to be.
