If South Africans have to be the 'boogeyman' of Africa that finally gets people to hold their governments accountable, so be it. Citizens across Africa are starting to demand better leadership, less corruption, more jobs, and real economic opportunities in their own countries, that's a win for the whole continent. Lets hope they won't be replacing South African businesses with local elites who'll only enrich themselves, and do nothing for the citizens. Real change happens when ordinary people benefit, not just when ownership changes hands. That's all we want for the rest of Africa as South Africans. It's as simple as that.
