During our visit, Emma told us the story behind the name. Piccalilli is named after her twin daughters, whose nicknames are Pickle and Lillie. And honestly, once you know that, everything about this little wine bar makes sense. It’s been built with love. You’re welcomed in, made to feel at home and treated like a regular, even if it’s your very first visit. Yes, the wine list is fantastic and the charcuterie boards make the perfect girl dinner. It’s dog friendly, filled with cosy reading nooks, board games and outdoor tables that are perfect for sunny afternoons.
