i got diagnosed with profound anhedonia in my sophomore year of hs and i’ve tried to explain this to people for years but people don’t understand to what extent it is the case that i can only feel nothing or bad emotions, things that used to bring me pleasure feel like a chore to experience because they don’t do anything but waste energy or give me the potential to feel something bad

CODs got a new event going for some pretty nice camos and I cluldnt be bothered to even start it, I used to love the grind and reward on that game now its just meh another thing to add to the collection. I hate it.

Maybe thats the difference in schizophrenia and schizo affective. The bi polar in schizo affective we feel extreme highs where things are like completely incredible even if there not to others. I wish i could give you that super power.

i was anhedonic and its faded a lil bit but i truly cant tell which is worse, being anhedonic and not being able to get a good cry in or even process any type of thinking, or being depressed and feeling EVERYTHING that has ever happened to you
