I disagree with you on this. servers make 2.13+ tips and have to tip out to bussers and hosts. youre supposed to tip in a restaurant.

Tipping culture is wild to me. Business should pay their staff a living wage. Tips are a mini bonus for great service. Prices just to eat out these days is expensive enough without adding 20% on top

If you can’t tip, you can’t eat out. Servers generally have to tip out to other staff. If you don’t tip them they pay out of pocket. I’m against it and culture don’t get me wrong, but until we change the laws, this is where we are. People shouldn’t have to depend on tips, but they do because these companies are not obligated to pay a living wage.

The problem is on business owners!!! They need to pay properly for they employers!! Also it sits on you, the customer! Go to places where tipping is reward from excellent service and where owner pays properly for they employers!

The employer must pay them a fair wage, and the employee must do their job well because it is their obligation. The waiter's salary is not the customer's responsibility, but the owner's, who benefits from their work, just like in any other job.
