@budgetwithpurpose: I wanted to compare savings accounts across several banks in The Bahamas. 🇧🇸 You know... Interest rates. Monthly fees. Minimum opening deposits. Minimum balance requirements. Simple and basic info... Except it wasn't. One website talked about earning a "modest" amount of interest. Another told me I could earn interest on balances above a certain amount and that interest is paid monthly...but not how much the interest actually is And another made it easy to find the fees... but I still couldn't find the savings account interest rate. And that left me with a pretty simple question: If I'm trying to compare savings accounts, shouldn't I be able to easily find out how much interest I'm earning? Maybe that's just me. 😂 So instead of guessing, I've started reaching out directly to the institutions. Once I get the responses, I'll put together a comparison and share what I find.
