Chocolate pistachio twisted brioche 🍫 full recipe below!  * 4 cups all-purpose flour * 1/2 cup sugar  * 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast * 1 cup warm milk * 1 tbsp vanilla extract  * 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened  * 1 teaspoon salt * 2 large eggs Chocolate filling 1 cup chocolate (half milk chocolate chips and half of baking dark chocolate bar) 4 tbsp butter 1/3 cup powdered sugar 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. In a separate bowl add warm milk, vanilla extract, yeast and let it bloom for 8-10 minutes. 2. Add yeast mixture, and eggs to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms. Add softened butter and knead the dough on a floured surface or stand mixer adding a tablespoon of butter gradually until well combined.  3. After 8-10 minutes do stretch method and if it stretches without breaking place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.  4. Once the dough has risen, punch it down, add to a floured surface, roll out into an oblong rectangle about an 1/2 inch thick and cut into 12-14 pieces. Roll out each portion into a small rectangle.  5. Spread chocolate spread evenly over each rectangle. Roll up each rectangle tightly into a log. Cut each log in half lengthwise, leaving one end intact. Twist the two halves together, creating a twisted shape. 6. Place the twisted brioche onto a lined baking sheet, cover, and let rise for 45-60 minutes. 7. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). 8. Once the rolls have risen, brush with egg wash and bake them in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown. 9. Remove the twisted buns from the oven and let them cool on baking tray for a few minutes.
