A 37-year-old man with numerous arrests & a lengthy history of using m3thamphetamine is under arrest in Florida for the d3ath of his 16-year-old son, whom he allegedly murd3red with an angle grinder on Labor Day morning. Stephen Thomas Rodda picked up the power tool at a mobile home on Old Barrow Road in Lake Wales, murder3d Stephen Lee Rodda & then warned the boy’s grandfather not to go in the dining room inside the residence. The victim was living with his grandfather Thomas Rodda, 65, to help him out while his grandmother in rehab. The grandfather left at 8 a.m. to visit his wife in rehab & returned around 11 a.m. to the suspect saying: “I wouldn’t go in there if I were you. I killed someone. You may need to call the police.” Sheriff Judd said that defendant Rodda showed up about a month ago, describing him as drifter who’s been in Washington, D.C., South Carolina, Texas & Ohio. Stephen Lee Rodda, a brother to 3 siblings, was a Frostproof High School student in the 11th grade & was studying to be an electrician. He was going to start work at Burger King as soon as next week, the sheriff said. The suspect fled the scene of the crime after talking encountering his father & deputies caught him a mile west on Highway 60, Judd said. He was trying to leave the area, Judd said. “You probably need to read me my rights,” Rodda said when he was caught, according to the sheriff. The sheriff said that the defendant has been using m3th since high school & that he’s had psychotic episodes. Sheriff Judd said that Rodda’s criminal history can be found “all over the United States,” including South Carolina where he had a warrant but was not extradited. The sheriff said the motive behind the slaying is under investigation. Authorities are also investigating whether the defendant was under the influence of dr*gs at the time. Polk County jail records show that defendant was booked at least 2 other times under the name Stephan Rodda in drug cases, once in 2022 & another time in 2016. #crimejunkie #crimejunkies #crimestories #crimetiktoker #crimetiktoks #crimestories #crimetiktoker #crimetiktoks #crime #truecrime #truecrimetiktok #truecrimetiktok #crimetiktok #crimetok #truecrimetok #truecrimetiktoker

President Donald Trump said Saturday that Iran—not the United States—was responsible for a deadly strike on an Iranian girls’ school, even as several media organizations reported that the explosions were likely the result of U.S. airstrikes. Speaking aboard Air Force One after attending the dignified transfer of six American service members killed in Kuwait on March 1, Trump was asked by a reporter about the incident. “No, and based on what I’ve seen, that was done by Iran,” Trump said before the question was directed to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, who was standing beside him. Hegseth responded that the situation is still under review. “We’re certainly investigating,” he said, adding, “The only side that targets civilians is Iran.” Trump continued to blame Tehran for the strike, saying the attack appeared consistent with what he described as Iran’s inaccurate weapons systems. “We think Iran did it,” he said, calling the strike “very inaccurate” and claiming Iranian munitions lack precision. So far, neither Washington nor Tehran has officially taken responsibility for the attack. The strike produced the deadliest civilian toll reported since the joint U.S.-Israeli campaign began. According to The Associated Press, citing Iranian state media, more than 165 people—mostly children—were killed when Shajareh Tayyebeh Elementary School in Minab was hit. The school sits next to a compound belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. However, U.S. military officials involved in the inquiry told Reuters that an American strike likely destroyed the school, though the investigation remains ongoing. Analysts reviewing satellite imagery said the damage pattern appeared consistent with a precision airstrike, according to the AP. Wes J. Bryant, a former Pentagon adviser on civilian harm, told The New York Times that the buildings appeared to have been hit with what he described as “picture-perfect” targeted strikes. He suggested the incident may have resulted from a misidentified target, with U.S. forces unaware that large numbers of civilians were inside the school. Two Iranian emergency responders and a parent of one of the students told Middle East Eye that the location was struck twice, with the second blast reportedly killing survivors who had taken shelter after the first explosion. Earlier in the week, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said there was no indication that U.S. forces had targeted the school. She noted that the Department of Defense was reviewing the incident and warned reporters against repeating what she described as Iranian “propaganda.” “I would caution you against pointing the finger at the United States when it comes to targeting civilians,” Leavitt said, adding that such actions are not consistent with U.S. military practices.#fyp #viral
