@sue.barries: I used to think love was just what I gave, but I was missing how she needed to feel it. The night she told me she didn't feel loved, I wanted to defend myself cause all my actions of love felt invalidated. Instead, I let her pain be real. Cause I know that love isn't about being right it's about seeing them. And knowing tha vs practicing it is a whole different story. So, this small gesture, like wrapping a gift, it's not big to me, it's something I'd never care for. I'd be happy just being handed the gift as is but for her the act of wrapping IS BIG TO HER. So l wrap her gifts no matter how small because love is listening to her heart not just mine.
