I work for a dentistry and literally maybe 2 minutes after you are done with your procedure we are all required if asked or not we give them their ledger on what got done that day so I don't know why they're not giving her her own records doesn't make sense.

the patient is entitled to their medical and dental records as soon as their appointment is done. the lady at the desk could easily had printed out what she was there for and what they were telling the patient what she needed work done on. it is all inputed into the computer as they are doing the exam. the dentist will sit there and call out what needs to be done on what tooth while the dental assistant dictates it in the computer.
