Master tech here. I have a $1400 husky box and a $250 harbor freight cart. 98% of my work is done out of the cart

20 + years of Snap On and at one time he was up to 20,000 dollars 😭 but now they’re all paid off and he has his tools built up. The tool box was so expensive but so far has lasted him almost 25 years! Still looks good too.

When we had to redo our insurance for our shop I made my husband itemize and value all his tools for the first time in 7 years. They’re worth more than our house. We regularly get free promo gifts from Matco, Mac, and Snap On. Pretty sure he’s the reason our Matco gal was able to buy her house 😂

Ngl Ive gotten my master tech certs in auto and heavy truck in 3 years, and never needed a tool box that cost more than 2k. Easily clear 100k yearly and still using ICON as my premium tools. He could of had a whole project car for that 😭
