Imagine this is so true and I have noticed it with several public speakers.This makes pple get excited about you even before you say what you actually were supposed to say. Myself I would use it to take away the tension coz I fear speaking to pple.Before they stop thinking about it or laughing about it you are almost done with your remarks and they won't even notice that you tensed
