But it’s also important to let yourself feel negative feelings first. Feel your anger and sadness and guilt, etc FIRST, before you try to be positive, or else you will just be putting a a positivity bandaid over your emotions. Example: feel angry that someone did something to you that was unfair, validate your own emotions, and then see the situation from a positive lens.
