I came across a female astrophysicist PHD candidate some time ago talk about how theres been more theories coming out (esp with more women in stem) that the universe could be cyclical rather than linear. Basically saying that rather that the universe continuing to expand endlessly from the big bang onwards but that the universe could be expanding and retracting cyclically. It reminds me of birth and death. Im hopeful to see more abt this theory.
