I have a theory. Seori's real body is the one at the present. She was Shin Seori all along. When she had her accident as a kid her soul got transported to dangshim's body in joseon era while young dang shim's soul got transferred to Seori's body in the present. This is why she was terrible in acting when she recovered from the accident because the original soul no longer lives there but dangshim. So real dangshim lives in new world while Real seori lived in joseon. When Seori died in joseon by poison, her soul git tranported back to the present on her original body. This is why she is so good at acting now. She even remembered the accident with her parents at the lake because those were her real memories all along

I think before the poison’s full effects got to her in Joseon, the soul switch happened which caused the “Seori” in modern time be ☠️in the body of Dansim while Dansim who’s the original Seori came back to the modern period just in time. Making the modern Seori’s soul gone unfortunately. That’s why when the truck accident happened, even though her modern body didn’t have major injuries, she cannot wake up bcs her soul is in her Joseon body. There’s only one soul now as the other Seori was already gone by poisoning.
